Tami Diaz was born and raised in Iowa and the Midwest. She graduated from Buena Vista University in Ottumwa. Mrs. Diaz taught first grade and special education in Texas for 28 years. Her husband, Ed and her have two children, Megan and Miles, who also live in Iowa. She spends her free time traveling, looking at antiques and spending time with her family and two chihuahuas, Tucker and Chiquita.
