Lisa Mullikin

Junior High Language Arts and Bible

Lisa Mullikin has been working in education since 1992. She began her career at Moulton-Udell as a 5th/6th-grade language arts and history teacher and taught there for 13 years. Then when her son, Michael, was born, she took a break to be a stay-at-home mom for about 5 years.  When Michael began school, Lisa started subbing at Cardinal Elementary as well as the Ottumwa Christian School(OCS). Those years were also spent in obtaining her pastoral certificate. Lisa has been the children’s pastor at First Pentecostal since 2012 and joined the staff at OCS in January of 2019 as a part-time junior high teacher. Lisa has a passion to train, teach, and mentor young people so that they build their lives on the one and only strong foundation – Jesus Christ.

Lisa has been happily married to her best friend, James, since February of 1995. They along with their son, Michael, live in the country on one of the family-owned farms. A few cats, a chocolate lab named Molly Brown, 20 chickens, and some pigs make life even sweeter.
